| It is with much sadness that after seven years, we announce the closing of The Crooked Needle. Our decision did not come quickly – or easily. But effective October 31, 2008, we will close our doors for the last time. We have made so many great friends over the years - & that is the hardest part – knowing we will not be seeing you every week (& some of you more than that!) We will be having our annual Anniversary Sale a little early this year. It actually coincides with the October shop hop involving the shops north and east of us - October 16-18. We will have some incredible savings – on all merchandise & even some samples! – great savings for YOU – so be sure not to miss it! It will be our last sale!! Block of the Month For those of you doing any of the block-of-the-month quilts, we will have all months cut & ready for you by Sept 15. If you haven’t already, you will also want to select your finishing fabrics NOW, for this will be your last chance to purchase these fabrics. *Many of the fabrics used are no longer available from the manufacturer, so what we have is all we are able to get. This brings to mind something else you may want to be checking on --- if you have any UFO’s that were begun with fabrics purchased here, you may want to double check that you have enough of the fabrics to finish the project. All quilting and custom quilt orders will be finished by October 31. Custom quilting will continue on a limited basis. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us. Gift certificates must be redeemed by October 31, 2008. We hope to be able to say ‘farewell’ to each of you in person, but if that is not possible, be assured that we wish you all the best in your future quilting & knitting projects. We hope that you have learned something from us in our classes & that you had fun along the way. It has been a privilege serving you these past seven years.
